I got this through the Mac faculty email. Looks like a terrific opportunity.

WorldNomads.com is offering the perfect opportunity for your students
to try their hand at documentary filmmaking. In conjunction with National
Geographic Adventure, WorldNomads.com is offering the chance to go
on assignment with producer Trent O'Donnell, to Vietnam to take a shot
at producing a documentary that will be considered for broadcast on
the National Geographic channel.
The winner of the scholarship will be flown to Vietnam from their
country of residence. They will then join a Buffalo Tours trek with
a team of volunteer doctors deep into the picturesque Mai Chau Valley.
Their mission is to set up temporary health clinics to provide vital
medical services to remote hill tribes. The winner's mission is to
tell their story.
Applicants for the scholarship must compile a 3 minute (or less)
video documentary in English based around the theme; 'Journey into
an Unknown Culture'. 'Journey' is open to interpretation and may
involve somewhere they have travelled or a journey of a more personal
nature. Videos should be uploaded to Natgeoadventuretv.com.au and
they will also be asked to provide 200 words or less on why they
should be awarded the World Nomads 2009 Travel Documentary Scholarship.
