Hello this is Laura Wagner, the pictures on this site are neat. i've actually never heard of wiki but it seems cool. one thing is it wouldn't let me post a comment on front page? strange...

Hi Laura. You've commented in the right spot anyway. Kudos for being first in your class! L

Hi Lori, I tried to download the PDA format course outline be it said that the file is damaged. I tried several times downloading it but the same problem occured. I was wondering if it works for you or is my computer's failure?
Thanks!

This file has now been compressed and made compatible with earlier versions of Acrobat. Hopefully it will open for all. If you have problems with it, you can print out the wiki page too by clicking on "printable version" in the lower right corner of the screen.

Hello! I would just like to say that I first thought this class would be similar to a drama class, however now I'm really interested to see how performance studies can be so "digital", especially seeing as how digitally interactive this course material is (wiki, facebook). And nice to meet you Lori!

i agree with Souzan, whenever i think of preformance i think of stage preforming, acting or sports. i never considered that it could be digital. im intrested in expanding my heriozin, and learn different forms of preformance. im sure there will be other things that i never would have associated with preforming. should be intresting!

Having already taken the 'gender and performance' course. I'm really looking forward to what this course entails and how the two relate. What I will continue to enjoy is how valued our personal opinions are and how expressive these courses allow us to be.

i was thinking more about our mid term over the weekend, im not really sure why when its sorta far away but i think the idea that you said with a common theme/objective and have some sorta of interactions could be really fun to do. hope you bring it up again.

Thx for your comment Laura. I am adding a page to the wiki that is called "Operation Midterm." Let's get some ideas going about this on Thursday during class. We have a chance to make some art here, people. Or we could have a multiple choice exam. We'll figure this out soon enough.

Hey Lori it says on the sidebar that you wont be here for Monday - does this mean that class is cancelled?

Nope it wasn't. Hope you went? Just meant office hours were cancelled. Hope this didn't cause too much confusion.

Hi Lorii... I'm not exactly sure where to hand in the essay tomorrow.. would if be okay if I just handed it in before the exam on Friday (as long as I won't lose marks) ?
